Island Brands Makes Waves in Crowdfunding Thanks to a Change in SEC Rules
Island Brands was featured in Business Insider's article "A Change in SEC Rules means food and booze brands are raising millions through crowdfunding - and scooping up customer data too" highlighting our crowdfunding success in raising $3.5 millions dollars (as of 10/15/21).
Thanks to a change in SEC rules which rolled out in March of 2021, brands are now able to raise $5 million dollars through an equity crowdfunding campaign, up from $1.07 million. With over 3,100 investors Island Brands is not only able to raise funds to assist in the expansion of distribution but to generate large amounts of data which helps to determine future expansions.
